The Abyssinian cafe is open for dinner every night. Our famous all you can eat Curry night happens every Wednesday but he warned the locals love it and bookings are essential!
The restaurant is open io house guests, locals and visitors to Mount Isa alike. Townview Motel guests can charge meals to their room bills and room service is available upon request. This is a licenced restaurant so you can enjoy your drinks along with your meal.

All Ethiopian dishes are home made, including the unique spice blends which give it a unique taste. Leila Cashmore has been a resident of Mount Isa for more than two decades. She came to Mt. Isa along with her Australian mining engineer husband David (they actually met in Sudan, which is another story). Apart from a well earned reputation as a great cook Leila is a 'keen golfer and has even scored a hole in one at the Mount Isa golf club.
